Fleet Services

A fleet is a scheduling problem as much as a mechanical one. We will set a maintenance program around how your vehicles actually get used, so service happens when a truck can be spared instead of when it quits.

What it usually turns out to be

You do not need a diagnosis to call. Describe what it is doing and we will tell you whether it is a shop job.

Vehicles are getting serviced when they break, not before

The most common way a small fleet ends up expensive. Reactive maintenance costs more per event and it always lands on the worst day. The fix is a schedule built around how the vehicles actually get used rather than a mileage number applied to all of them.

Nobody can say when a given vehicle was last serviced

Usually the real problem behind the first one. We keep the record per vehicle, so the answer to what was done and when does not depend on whoever was driving it at the time.

Two vehicles are always out at once, and never the two you planned

A scheduling problem more than a mechanical one. Staggering service so it lands when a vehicle can genuinely be spared is most of what a program is for, and it is the part that gets skipped when everything is booked one call at a time.

The same failure keeps happening across the fleet

Worth treating as a pattern rather than as four separate repairs. Same route, same load, same duty cycle produces the same wear, and once you can see it coming you can schedule for it instead of reacting to it.

What we do

  • Customized maintenance program built to your usage
  • Consultation to set intervals and priorities
  • Scheduled service across gas and diesel vehicles
  • Light and medium duty trucks
  • Brakes, cooling, A/C and electrical in one shop
  • Inspections ahead of seasonal demand

Will it fit

The question owners ask first and almost nobody answers on a website.

Service bays

Yard entrances

Two yard entrances is what makes a long rig easy to get in and back out of. Call with your length before you drive over and we will tell you whether it fits and when the bay is free.

What we do not do here

  • We are not going to promise you an uptime figure or a turnaround time. Those are the numbers a fleet page is expected to carry and they are the ones nobody can honestly publish without knowing your vehicles and our week.
  • We do not hold DOT inspection authority and we are not claiming a commercial rating.
  • We are not naming current or past fleet customers.
  • We are not publishing account terms on this page. What that looks like is a conversation, and it should be one rather than a list of conditions you agree to by reading.
  • Light and medium duty is the range this is written for. If you run something heavier, ask rather than assume.

Before you call, have this handy

None of it is required. It just gets you a real answer on the first call instead of the second.

What is in the fleet, and how old

Year, make and rough mileage per vehicle. Gas and diesel mixed is normal and is not a problem; it just changes how a schedule gets built.

How the vehicles actually get used

Routes, loads, idle time, towing, seasonal peaks. This is the part that makes a program worth having, because a manufacturer's interval assumes an average that almost no working vehicle matches.

When you can genuinely spare each one

Days of the week, times of year, and which vehicle is the one you cannot lose. Building around that is most of the value.

What records you already keep

Anything at all is a starting point. If the answer is a folder of receipts and somebody's memory, that is common and we can work from it.

Questions

Questions we get asked

How small is too small for this?

There is no minimum worth publishing. If you have a handful of vehicles and the scheduling is already a nuisance, that is the point at which a program starts paying for itself. Call and describe what you run.

Can you guarantee turnaround?

No, and we would rather say so than promise a number we cannot hold. What we will do is build the schedule around when you can spare a vehicle, which is the thing that actually reduces downtime.

Do you handle gas and diesel both?

Both, in the same building, along with brakes, cooling, air conditioning and electrical. A mixed fleet not needing three different shops is most of the argument for this.

What does it cost to set up?

The conversation is free. Setting intervals and priorities around your usage is consultation, not a product, and you should know what the program looks like before anybody talks about money.

Do you do DOT inspections?

No. We do not hold that authority and we are not claiming it.

Talk to someone who works on these

Call the shop and we will tell you the soonest realistic date rather than book you and hold your rig. Mon-Fri 8:00 - 5:00, Saturday 8:00 - 12:00.
